What it does
CollivoBot retrieves an individual public web page when a signed-in Collivo user explicitly asks our assistant to read that specific URL. It is on-demand and user-initiated.
It is not a crawler or search indexer. It does not spider your site, follow links to discover new pages, or download in bulk. A user request results in a fetch of the page they asked for.
How it behaves
- It honors your
robots.txtrules. - It respects rate-limit responses (for example HTTP 429) and backs off.
- It requests pages over HTTPS.
- It does not attempt to bypass paywalls, logins, or bot challenges such as CAPTCHAs.
How to control its access
To stop CollivoBot from fetching any part of your site, add the following to your robots.txt:
User-agent: CollivoBot Disallow: /
You can also restrict specific paths using standard robots.txt syntax. We honor these rules; if you need a block applied urgently, email us and we will action it.
Pages it retrieves
Content CollivoBot retrieves is shown only to the Collivo user who requested it. We do not use it to train AI models.
